Another major conflict was when Eddie enlisted to go to war, he was very confident of leaving but then when he arrived in combat, it wasn't easy. There he was taught everything from praying silently at night, to not being able to sleep for days, they were taught how to capture a slave, but not to become one, until he and 4 others did. they were held captive for over 2 months, then they did the great escape. they burnt down all the huts, but Eddie saw the shadow of a little girl, he was gonna go inside the burning hut to save her but the captain shot his leg and he lost a lot of blood. He was unconscious and when he woke up they were already heading home, he was just glad that he made it alive. but when he realized that he couldn't walk like he used to, he became grumpy and mean, he looked bitter. Very different from when he used to. The problem was resolved when he died and went to heaven, he saw the captain and the captain admitted that he was the cause of his limping and all the regret he had after the war, he admitted that he shot his leg. Eddie let out all his anger on him and the problem was resolved.
The last problem was him dying. We know he died but we don't know why. He worked at Ruby Pier as maintenance. Everything was going at his normal schedule and he did the same routine everyday, if he knew he was going to die maybe he would've done something different. But he didn't know. he rode all the rides to check if something was wrong, just like he did every week. Then he wont inside his office to go and rest, suddenly he heard screaming and heard something wrong with one of the rides, he tried to run to the machine but his leg was too weak to go that fast, when he saw the carts that were about to fall he knew what was wrong immediately, then he saw the little girl that was underneath the carts. He knew the carts would fall on her, so he ran as fast as he could, the carts were already falling when he reached her, he felt her little hands and then everything went black. He died.
